ABOUT ME

I've just finished my bachelors and I am patiently waiting while I figure out what's next for me. I love meeting new people from all over. I studied history, politics, film, and drama and those are among my main interests. I enjoy playing basketball, board games, and skiing as well!

PHILOSOPHY

The more you live, the more you learn, and learning is cool! Keeping an open mind makes everything a lot more interesting and fun. You'll never know everything but it's worth trying.

Surfed a few times, met friends through groups, and generally like to check stuff out. Haven't hosted in Edmonton yet, but if you're swinging by the city give me a shout.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love Wes Anderson's films. Arcade Fire is my favourite band and I also really enjoy The National, Sufjan Stevens, LCD Soundsystem, Bon Iver, Kanye West. My favourite books are Ishmael, The Great Gatsby, 1984, Freakonomics, and The Sandman Series.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Well I have had mostly enjoyable experiences when staying in hostels and met a lot of really cool people, but those relations generally only last a day or two and you're both so busy with your own travel plans that you rarely get to connect. I enjoy couch surfing because the opportunities I have to share my culture,and past and future endeavors. In turn I always appreciate the insight the people I stay with have about their local customs and experiences.
