ABOUT ME
I enjoy lucid dreaming in the mornings, reading good books, histories, thoughts.
I was born in India and raised in Northern Ireland. I enjoy my peculiar Irish culture but want to explore others. I know a certain brand of history and identity and would be happy to compare.
I have been travelling since I was wee and don't feel like I am fixed in one place. As a result I don't know where my accent comes from..
Scotland is currently where my heart is. I studied English Literature at Glasgow University but I will probably move to Paris next. I'm off to study International Development and Environmental policy at Sciences Po.
I love walking about, running and cross country, I'm not too good with rules so other sports don't usually work out so well. I am awful at pool and table tennis but in a way that I sometimes win somehow.
I get a bit sad when I can't see green spaces and love the fake nature that's been curved into most European cities when the industries departed.
I don't really have rhythm but that doesn't really stop me.
PHILOSOPHY
Read books, acquire knowledge.
I threw away my television.
I'll probably not make wealth but I'll create something else..
Also:
'Pan!' -DH Lawrence
crazy mixed up poststructural inside and out thinking
Foucault, Ranciere, Nietzsche, Freire
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm technically homeless..
For the last four years I've been sharing flats and space with lots of different people from all over the world. I have learned alot about respect for a shared environment, people's boundaries and cultural needs.
My space is usually a reflection of how I feel, I usually feel clean, hygienic and well ordered. usually.
As me mammy used say, equal rights/human rights start at home.
I went to the Glasgow Couch Surfers night in the Tenants Basement the other night, would meet couchsurfers in a sweaty basement again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Donegal, true peace resides half an hour into the innishowen peninsula.
Getting trapped inside Angkor Wat by storms.
Finally getting a road trip through the Scottish highlands all the way to Skye. I'm sure I've done more interesting things but this was cool. Swimming in a small fairy pool half way up a mountain, diving under sunken arches. Buying a rubbish bbq and grilling bananas, bread and brie before setting up a minibar in a backpack and wandering a deserted beach with friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
English and literature all the way. Indian culture, Irish culture, history. Music, philosophy, Art student stuff.
There's loads more I'd love to learn.
