ABOUT ME

I am half way through an around the world trip. I have been to Eastern African countries and South Africa, and then been working in Australia for a while. I am travelling around for a bit in Australia and them am going over to New Zealand to spend some time over there

I am an outgoing person up for doing most things. I enjoy meeting new people and visiting new places, which is why I am doing the traveling at the moment. I was introduced to the concept of couch surfing by a guy on my travels, and he completely sold it to me. The idea sounds awesome, and I really like to hear the local opinion of a place when I get there as well as all of the touristy stuff. I have only heard of good experiences with couch surfing, and can't wait to get started!

PHILOSOPHY

I met a guy in Africa that summed up my personal view on things quite well 'If you are having a bad day, just make it a good one. You decide what kind of day it is going to be!'

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am just looking for a couch to crash on in the places that I am going to be going to, but on my return home I would be interested in hosting people and listening to their stories about their travels, as well as showing them around England a bit

Intereses

I love sports, and can watch just about anything (except darts, snooker, chess, etc.) I am always game for a run around, kicking a football (the English kind and the Australian kind, although I can't kick an egg straight to save my life) or simply chucking a frisbee around in the park.

I really enjoy hiking and getting out into the mountains

Going out to bars and clubs is awesome, and spending a day in the pub with mates watching the sports on TV can make for a good day when its crap weather

I enjoy reading and since travelling have read more books than I have in my entire life. Anything you can recommend I will check out!

Música, películas y libros

Not really into any particular film genres, there are good films that creep up in any genre, with the exception of horror. I don't like horror films

I like a wide range of music, and can enjoy most songs that are played in the background when you are with a group of people. If I buy music, though, I like chilled out stuff (especially acoustic), a bit of ska and reggae, and then 90s punk as well

I am a big fan of reading. I'm not too interested in fantasy, but do like Terry Pratchett and especially Neil Gaiman as an exception. I get into books based on real life a lot more as there is that extra believability factor to it, but anything that you put in front of me I will at least start to read even if I don't finish it

Algo increíble que he hecho

Not done anything that I would class as amazing. I have done stuff that I think is cool, such as ski down a mountain off piste in a white out, white water rafting, and met some awesome people on my travels. I am easily pleased so anything can impress me. I was recently really impressed with the view of a big storm in Perth. I was driving home through the storm and the sun was setting as I came out of it. I was driving over a bridge where it was raining on one side but not the other, and there was a rainbow where you could see the shadow of the bridge in it - awesome!
