ABOUT ME

I'm an open, friendly person and my friends will tell you that I'm a hippie. They might also use the term "Animal Whisperer" because I am a dog person to the max. I'm also an artist, avid reader, and an American Peace Corps Volunteer.

Interests

I live for reading, writing, art, traveling, learning, Nature, and cultural exchange. I want to continue broadening my perspective and traveling is my preferred method of doing so. I am always down for a game of football/soccer, and just as happy reading my book over coffee; I enjoy a variety of good times with friends and always look forward to making more of both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Going to Rwanda with my Mom in 2007 threw the doors to this beautiful, complex world wide open.
2. My Peace Corps service here in Azerbaijan is the most significant long-term travel I've had, and it's taught me that I'm capable and adaptable almost anywhere.
3. When my fiance proposed to me in 2009, I knew I'd have a travel-partner for life, even when we're apart.
