ABOUT ME

Wanderer. Activist. Warm hearted. Sometimes funny. Pretty well read. Pretty good actress and writer. Loved my dog. We had 15 puppies.
I've lived in London, England and Geneva, Switzerland and New York City and Los Angeles and Alaska and Nebraska. Wanted to be an actress, wound up being a writer, but truthfully, I have always had a day job. Spent 12 years in Pennsylvania taking care of, and renovating, the house I grew up in, a house my father built. Sold the house in 2013; moved back to Nebraska in 2014. Worked on the Hillary campaign. Wrote a book in 2017. Got a graduate degree from one of the best journalism schools in the country in 2019.

PHILOSOPHY

I picked a hard goal (acting) and didn't achieved it. Along the way, finally discovered that I could find equal satisfaction as a writer. I never got married because I never met the right guy. So, I guess my philosophy is don't compromise. Keep working and waiting until you find the thing -- or the person-- with whom you can feel genuinely happy.

I don't have a couch to offer because I will be staying in someone's home in Nebraska for a while.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Was a brand new couch surfer in 2012. Stayed on my first two couches in Oberlin, Ohio and Cedar Rapids, IA. Lately, have done Airbnb.
