ABOUT ME

My life is a continuous process of discovering, acknowledging and then embodying the divine perfection and wholeness that resides within and without. I am fueled by more internal endeavors rather than outward achievements, though I realize more than ever that YES, I am worthy and deserving of enjoying the sweetness of this material existence.

In many ways I spent a long time denying the human side of my experience, enmeshed in the loftiness of spiritual pursuits. As I've embraced myself, who I AM, my gifts, passions, latent abilities, etc I see that I am beautiful and a gift to this world (as is each of us!). I now strive for balance in all that I do. I am passionate about getting out of my own way and becoming the man that I know I AM at my core. My deepest desire is to bring total alignment between my soul purpose and then what I think, feel, say and do!

If you couldn't tell I can be pretty serious. Thank God I was gifted with a sense of humor. Sure it's dry and witty, but that doesn't take away from the joy it brings to myself and others. Just being real yo.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are all here to shed the mental, emotional and physical obstructions that stand between who we think we are and who we truly are and came here to BE.

I believe there is a child inside each of us and our job, the work so to speak is in returning to living and seeing the world through the eyes of that curious, innocent and pure child. Letting go of the story that tells us it's not safe to be who we truly are and so as we step into being that child we step into living as the pure creators that we are. Capable of creating anything we can conceive. Voila!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just moved to South Florida and am living with friends so my participation is not what I'd like for it to be. At the moment my intention is to connect with awesome people when traveling and in due time come into circumstances where I can reciprocate such generosity! That doesn't mean I'm not giving out free hugs, warm gazes, and thoughtful conversation NOW, because I AM and that's what I have to give (amongst other non-tangibles).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed with 2 great hosts in Seattle for 9 days, Couch Surfed on a Boulder trip, Couch Surfed in Dallas, and have hosted a few travelers while I was living in Kansas. All in all great experiences and I love the diversity of conversation and personality - it's been a great way to get a fresh perspective on life.

Interests

Reading, Meditating, Permaculture, Fruit, Cycling, Writing, Kiteboarding, all joking aside, I love long walks on the beach after sunset, joking, getting lost on the internet for a wee bit, web design, graphic design, idea generation, day dreaming, ahhhh and fruit hunting, I love finding random fruit trees in populated areas.
