*I’m back in my hometown, Matsuyama🍊

A Japanese solo backpacker who quit job to embark on an adventure from the end of January 2025.
I was born and raised in the countryside in Japan, and I went to university in Tokyo and worked there for four years.

I’d describe myself as open-minded, curious, cheerful, and talkative with introspective soul. I love spending time with my hosts and connecting with locals and travelers! I feel happiness when living freely as my true self, being guided by curiosity, and connecting deeply with others.

I’m passionate about exploring different cultures, not just through sights and food, but especially through deep, meaningful encounters with people. For me, the highlight of travel isn’t the destination . It’s the connections I make along the way.

I wish I could have hosted Couchsurfers in Tokyo, but unfortunately, my apartment was too small. Still, I loved showing my friends around whenever I had the chance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and immersing myself in the local culture by spending time with locals. Visiting the Balkans has always been a dream of mine, and I’m so excited to finally make it come true!

As I travel across Europe, I hope to visit many countries and make new friends along the way.
