About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get a life!

ABOUT ME

A sober and married cheerleader says it all.

PHILOSOPHY

Life isn't too short, it's way too long. If people lived only until they were 50, they would take advantage of the time and thus be happier. Moreover, the environment would thank us and we wouldn't have to suffer so many illnesses.(But I am always keeping myself busy, so one extra Sunday would suit me) As you might already have noticed, I can be rather provocative at times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurf to get familiarised with foreign cultures (and to save some money) and provide my couch for those who need it. I'd be more than happy to show how life is in Jyväskylä.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet couchsurfed but I was accommodated by a nice middle-aged fellow in Amsterdam when I needed a place to stay and encouraged by that, I'm here.

I've hosted visitors from Germany (2), Latvia (2), Mexico (2), Portugal (1), Finland (1) and Canada (1) and we have had a good time together.

Interests

Cheerleading and children make me smile.

I also like juggling, climbing, looking at beautiful pictures (though I can't take any) and simply everything that's new/fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have many favourite movies, but I like Moulin Rouge and other romantic stuff probably the most. My favourite author is Nora Roberts but I haven't had time to read any books lately. The Moomin series are especially close to my heart. When it comes to music, everything goes, if it doesn't break my ears.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Geysirs are pretty amazing but so are the littlest things. A kid playing, realizing something new and having that self-conscious and victorious expression on his/her face... simply amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I know for sure is to teach the basic skills in cheerleading (and trust me, I'm not talking merely about pom-poms...). I would like to learn more languages and hear (and acquire) new words in the languages I already know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Finland
