I am a structural engineer from Madrid, Spain and I moved to NZ in March 2014 to do a PhD in seismic retrofitting. I am very open minded and really enjoy learning about other people, their way of thinking. It really amazes me how many different people are in this little world.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to travel with CS, to meet new people around the world. Unfortunately I can't host anybody, I share my flat with two more people and they do not want to host anybody. But I will be up to have a walk or a beer!
I was surfer several times, and I must say I liked a lot. It's very good experience because you are able to know different people and their culture. Unfortunately I was never able to host.

I love war/historic movies and documentaries about facts that you wouldn't learn in holywood, politics, economy, pharmacy and alimentary industry ...
Music ... I like almost every kind of music, but for example I like Arctic Monkeys, The killers and also jazz for example ... depends on my mood :P
Books ... I really love to read, so I like many different types of literature but especially I love Paul Auster, Robert Graves, Science Fiction, Jose Saramago, Mario Vargas LLosa for example ...

Algo increíble que he hecho

The most amazing experience I have had in my life was when I visited the sacred yellow mountains in China, emerging from a sea of clouds. But other experiences could be seeing the stars in the middle of Gobi desert with no civilization in 300 km around or climbing the Menkaure pyramid in Egipt and enjoying the views over the desert, the archeological field and the city of Cairo. Living in Istambul for two months was just magical, and the ancient greek and romans ruins, small towns, pamukkale... But there are also daily things that are amazing, a smile in a kid, a ray of sun in the water, a sunset ... it's also necessary to enjoy these little things

I am a really curious person, so I am always keen to learn pretty much about every field
