About Me

Hi:) I am Kiki, a Malaysian who is currently studying in Singapore.
I am going to University College Cork in August for one semester exchange.
I must admit that I am quite shy but definitely an easy going person and I am ready to explore new things. Basic English conversation is fine for me but please bear with my grammatical errors and I am working hard to be able to speak English fluently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to explore the world during my exchange in Ireland. Couchsurfing is the best platform for me to meet new people from different background and culture.

Interests

I like reading, playing badminton and watching movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Seldom can I remember the name of movies after watching them, but the whole series of films directed by Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese animator is my favorite movies all the times. I have watched his films such as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle for plenty times and I love these films very much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one weeks in Chagar Hutang, an island in Malaysia for sea turtle conservation project. I stayed in the island without Wifi and phone service, slept on the beach and enjoy gazing at the stars.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach:
I don't know much, but I am willing to teach people Mandarin if they wanna learn it. :)
What I would like to learn:
It would be best if I can learn English from the host. Meanwhile, I will be more than happy to learn anything the host want to share.
For the sharing part, I shall say that I am not a very interesting person so i might not have many interesting experience to share. However, I will not hesitate to tell my stories if anyone has the intention to know some of them. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am willling to share whatever i can share with hosts. Perhaps some local cuisine of Malaysia?
