My partner (Joe) and I moved to Finland almost 5 years ago, and we live here with our 4 cats and one dog. This year we'll be celebrating our 8th anniversary!

I love reading, watching films, playing games, and going on long walks with our rescued husky. I also love food, and eating! I'm a tea addict, and a chocaholic. I mostly read scifi and fantasy, but love reading almost anything to be honest. I love learning new facts and skills, and I'm a firm believer in always being ready to question what you think you already know.

About Joe :

Joe is a Graphic Designer/Web Developer. Also loves reading; in fact reads even more than I do, which is a lot! Also mainly scifi/fantasy - in fact, our list of favourite authors/books is practically identical. He also like football (Manchester United!), and playing FM and PES. Joe is clever, friendly, funny, considerate, and beyond awesome in every way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We'd love to travel more and meet more interesting people around the world. All the best people I know are scattered across the globe, which is both sad and wonderful.

Sadly ATM we have no extra space to host guests, but we're hoping to move to a larger flat in the future that would allow us to have guests around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Far too many to name.. I mostly read Scifi and Fantasy. Favourite authors include Brandon Sanderson, Robin Hobb, Brian McClellan, Michael J Sullivan, and I guess Orson Scott Card (even if he is a bigoted arsewart). Also a huge fan of Ready Player one, The Martian and the Ketty Jay series, and... I better stop here.

Even trying to list films is completely pointless, but I should maybe mention that I LOVELOVELOVE Star Wars and Disney films.

Favourite TV series: Heroes, Lost, Downton Abbey..

Music: Editors, Billy Talent, Muse, Bloc Party, to name a few, but I listen to almost anything to be honest.
