About me...let me see...

first of all: i feel bad about only having replied to 18% of my couchsurf requests. I simply don't log on that often and when I find a request I got months ago...i always figured it's too late to say no...? I guess? anyhow I'm sorry - so changed my status now to be more of a hanger than a hoster ;)
workin professionally as a port agent for some time now. Have lots of fun at work since a spend a lot of time with seafarers from all over the world. When I was 16 I spent a month in a Japanese host family in Mizusawa \ Iwate and lived in the Netherlands for 3 years. I have traveled up and down California so far for the plain reason my sister lives in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, my aunt in Sacramento, my cousin in Santa Barbara and so on...

Although Im a highly professional workaholic, I still enjoy going out with my friends on the weekends, punkrock, comics, videogames and beer. And after all, I live right there, where poeple go to spend their nights out, which is Hamburg St. Pauli

And I always enjoy meeting new people. The more, the better!!

Have hosted twice. Had a blast. First couple stayed 4 nights and they were so much fun I still miss them. And Kota... got no words for ya, bro. Been to Japan but seems like that was in another century. COME BACK DUDE!!! Never surfed yet...

Interests

meeting nice people all over this planet -i never forget people i met and liked - even if it just includes the 8 hrs you spend together on an airport :-)
I also like to snowboard, punkrock, squaredance (YES SQUAREDANCE) and comics :-P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to Japan at age 16 and got filmed in a Kimono dancing and drinking beer on the Tsatsaka Festival in Mizusawa ( illegally at age 16 ) which resulted in getting invitations from all host-families for next years exchange. Cause when I drink...i'm adorable ;)
