ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, open-minded person. I can sometimes be quite calm, but nevertheless I love to be active and am interested in everything new.

PHILOSOPHY

I am always looking for a challenge that needs all my attention and patience on which I can concentrate. I love to work on things intensively until I reach an above average result. Therefor I can sometimes forget about other things that are not this important for me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I live in an extremely small room, I can't offer anybody to stay the night.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I only met nice people here. I traveled around in Canada and USA with a friend and we didn't have big problems to find somebody where we could stay.

兴趣

Although I am open-minded for nearly everything there are some subjects I am interested in particular. From my early childhood my parents often took me out into the nature, they showed and explained everything to me, so that this is still an important part of my life.
Furthermore I am a home constructor. I love repairing or developing things. This hobby strongly expanded in the direction of computers during the last few years. That's why I study IT.
One thing I spend a lot of time with is making music. I play the piano since many years and managed to figure out how to play without sheets.
My latest interest is psychology. I read a lot about this subject and I think I reached quite a high level of knowledge about the inner life of people.
I spend also a lot of time on sports. I'm cycling a lot, do parcour, archery and badminton.

音乐、电影和书籍

I prefer either films or books that are funny or of which I can learn something. Nevertheless one of my favorite films is e.g. Sherlock Holmes because it has the perfect combination of action, fun, exclusiveness, ingenuity and what else belongs in a good film.
There is no book I like best because I am not a big reader. Usually I only read about a subject that I am interested in (recently psychology).
Although it doesn't seem to fit, my favorite music is Metal (especially Symphonic, Melodic, Power Metal). I like it because of its energy and the often very complex melody.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In a time of 1.5 years I created a very complex map for a computer game.

I learned playing piano without any help. Now after about seven years I can play nearly everything without having to practice and without sheets.
