ABOUT ME

I grew up in two countries (Germany & Austria), and have lived in three more (USA, UK & Denmark), and enjoy exploring what it means to be a transatlantic citizen. I love visiting and spending time with people in different communities, and I *love* to explore the same place from many different angles and perspectives.

Besides dancing professionally, I am also a professional life coach, working particularly with people who've moved around a lot in their lives and are searching for a true sense of home. I love this work, because I can bring all aspects of who I am into it, while helping others connect to their inner drives and values. Currently, I reside in Philadelphia, my home-base on and off for the past 12 years.

Some things I like to do: marvel at budding trees, ride the metro, grow and eat vegetables, go out dancing, imagine my life as a monk, watch well-written TV shows, figure out accounting problems, network with people at conferences, get lost in cities, help people reduce their clutter, play with language, write a speech, spend quality time with family & friends, ignore cats until they like me, swim in clear lakes, brush my teeth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In many ways, couch-surfing has been an integral part of my non-virtual life since I was a kid, and I love connecting with people with whom I share a common vision. I've had a lot of wonderful experiences being a host and a guest, and I'm excited to be a part of the CouchSurfing community.

Janet Jackson's _janet_ tour, live in concert in Munich, when I was 16. That, and the New Kids On The Block when I was 10. What can I say? I've seen it all.
