Live in Portland, work at a theater/nanny/freelance as a stagehand/tech. I like sewing, knitting, playing music. I LOVE my bicycle. I like to garden and play the mandolin and sing and... bake bread!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My mother took me to stay at a Buddhist monastery in the Santa Cruz mountains every year as a kid, and when I was sixteen, I spent a summer as a Zen student, studying their religion and philosophy. I worked to support the guest season (how they make money in the summertime), woke up early early every, meditated four hours a day, and had an incredible summer. I'm not a religious person of any particular persuasion, but the ideas of community and respect that I learned that summer have stayed with me.
