As you've read. My name is Killian, which is actually a boys name, but something went wrong there ;)
I live on my own in The Hague in a lovely 1930's apartment. I live close to the beach (5km). And love spending time out there, going for a long walk, take my picknick with me and read a book of go for a swim.

Pixie and Dibbes are my two lovely cats, who are really sweet and friendly.

I'm trying to live my life in a conscious way. I'm a vegetarian and try to eat healthy, although I love my snack once in a while ;) I try to avoid using to much plastic and single use stuff. One of my hobbies is visiting the secondhand store looking for a gems which otherwise go to waste. I have a bucket of worms at home. They help me compost my veggie waste in my apartment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that if you do good for the world, good comes to you. And CS is supporting this in a great way. I can share my place and someone can share their home with me. A great way of sharing the world we are in.

Interests

I'm quite a energetic and a bit of an adventurous type. Though I love the calm that for instance nature or yoga have to offer.
Some of the things I like to spend my time with are hiking in nature, reading books, listing to music, wall climbing (outside climbing is on my wishlist), cycling, frisbeeding, hooping, yoga, and hang out with people close to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music. I always make sure I have some music on my phone to keep me company when I want. Things that I regularly listen to are: Elbow, Radiohead, Boards of Canada, Junip, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Sublime, ambient music, meditation music. I like going to concerts. Lot's of the time I'm pleasantly surprised by a small/local band and ending up having a great evening.

Reading is something I like to do as well, at home, outside in the sun or at a cafe. Recent books I've red and made me think/ laugh/ cry: the circle, 1984, the Rosie project.
