Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people! I'm pretty shy to begin with so I feel introducing myself and meeting people would be the hardest thing to do for me while travelling but with couchsurfing I can meet people with similar interests and totally different experiences from all around the world.

I love the outdoors. I want to see all the natural beauty this world has to offer and maybe get fit in the process, because I also love hiking and running.
Other cultures, I'm fascinated by all the different cultures we all have and would love to learn about yours!
I'm an animal lover, and an avid reader. I love to sing and dance horribly and smile a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite musicians include Gavin Degraw, Goo Goo Dolls, Florence and the Machine, Paramore, Foo Fighters, The Killers and many many more! I'm not very picky about music at all, and generally listen to the radio.
I haven't watched many movies, but my favorite has to be The Breakfast Club. I really believe that there's more to every person than just their surface and that everyone has more than one side to them, in order to really know a person its important to hear their stories and thoughts. I'd love to watch a foreign film and see how it compares to Americas blockbusters!
I'm an avid reader, and my favorites include The Giver, How to Kill a Mockingbird, Valiant, Fault in Our Stars. My interests are wide ranging when it comes to books: I love thought-provoking books, I'm obsessed with fantasy stories of myth and magic, and I'm a sucker for a good romance novel.
