About Me
Caught the travel bug in 2012, just finished a year working holiday in New Zealand and am now in Australia on a whv. I am very friendly, fun, outgoing, talkative, and a polite and respectful guest. I love to cook, drink wine and beer, play cards, dance, play volleyball, horseback ride and do anything outdoors! Would love to have some new experiences and adventures and try new things while meeting new people :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to expand my comfort zone, and I love to travel and meet locals! No better way to do that than stay with someone and get the low-down on the city and fun places to see and things to do :) Can't wait to meet some international friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Zip-lining in Costa Rica on 25 different lines beside 2 waterfalls, some lines 350ft high.....terrified of heights but it was a fun experience to get out of my comfort zone and face some fears. :)
Whale watching in Kaikoura NZ was magical. Travelled New Zealand north to south via bus, ride share and a campervan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been a volleyball coach for 13 years, and taught western style horseback riding for 12 years.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My passion for cooking! I come from a big family and love to cook for other people, I believe in the saying of building bigger tables instead of walls. The best times are to be shared over good food and drinks growing friendships :)
