Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I don't want to travel like a typical tourist. I want to experience the Aussie lifestyle, meet new people and learn about their experiences in their hometown and other places they have visited. I also would love to be shown around someone's hometown and get to visit new and interesting attractions, shops or restaurants that I wouldn't have known about from just researching the city by myself.
