About Me

Hello everyone,

I'm a 20 year old German studying in Barcelona and I love traveling! I've spent the past year as a volunteer in Nicaragua, Central America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing a lot in Central America and just find it amazing how many lovely and interesting people I have met through this Website. I'm happy to be part of this open-minded and crazy community.
Unfortunately I live with three roommates this year and they don't want to take any Couchsurfers in. I hope next year when I'm in Belgium this will change!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fantasy lover! So pretty much nothing goes over the Lord of the Rings or the Harry Potter books and movies. But I'm huge on political, thriller, action and romantic movies as well. Pretty much love to read and currently reading the books of the "100 Books You Should Have Read" list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly this volunteering year is the most amazing thing I've done. I've learned so many things for life and never had this much fun and met this many people. Also I love Gallo Pinto it's pretty delicious.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak German, English, French and Spanish fluently. Although my French had to suffer from not using it for over 2 years now. But thanks to my sister in Paris I get back into it pretty fast. So I'm always open to teach a few words of those languages and always looking for an opportunity to get better and learn more myself. I also do water color paintings and sculptures so whoever wants to learn some drawing or painting is always welcomed. I love Salsa and Bachata! I'm not the best dancer myself but I'd love to improve.

I myself would love to learn traditional dishes from the country I am in. Also any sort of outdoor activity would be awesome!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My Gallo Pinto recipe from Nicaragua is a pretty damn good treat. Top that with a good ol German pie and you won't let us wanna leave ever again.
