About Me
Hello! I’m a recent college graduate from northern California where I’ve lived since coming to America at age four. In college I studied computer science but my passion for sustainability led me to be really involved with food waste and food insecurity work where I was able to help save food and feed hungry people as part of a student club— one of the best highlights of my college career!! I truly enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their perspectives, their passions and dreams, and learning about where they come from! Human connection and embracing diversity makes me feel alive. Nothing excites me more than being able to learn about the world and (life!) through experiencing it under all the diverse, myriad lenses— of both the good and bad. I just finished a 4 week study abroad in Scotland (my first time in Europe!!) and am now starting my 6 weeks backpacking solo adventure around Europe til the end of August! I’ll be visiting 10 countries and I’m super excited to get a glimpse of all the different and beautiful cultures, landscapes, and people!! I hope to soak in as much as I can and am looking to get a fuller picture of the world by seeing it through as many angles as I can seek. I believe we are all different but there are underlying common human threads we share across the globe, across cultures and dogmas and I hope to see it for myself as I roam around Europe to my curious heart’s content. I also love adventuring and outdoor activities and am always up for a new experience, thrill seeking or not, and appreciate simple downtime as well. Hope we can connect!

Music, Movies, and Books
I haven’t watched many films but my favorite 2 are Stand By Me and Forrest Gump! I enjoy music from a wide range, from funk to classic rock to folk and many more in between! As for books, I most enjoying reading memoirs, biographies, history, and personal/professional development books. Some of my favorites are The Things They Carried and Shoe Dog. I am always excited to discover what could be a new favorite book/movie/song so would love to hear diverse recommendations!!!
