About Me
Hi!
I graduated high school in 2016 and after that I lived for two years in the US near Washington DC. I was an Au Pair and took care of two wonderful kids. One of my favorite parts about being an Au Pair was that I had a lot oppotunities to travel. So my friends and I traveled a lot and basicly saw most parts of the US. I kind of became a travel addict :)
I returned back to Germany in July 2018 and started studying Global Management in my beautiful hometown in Bremen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to meet new people in the cities that I will explore and travel to. And I believe that locals can give you a special and sometimes rather different view on the city/town/place than the mainstream info you can find on the web. You can always learn so much from other people's experiences and I think that's a great thing. I enjoy talking to people about their lives and travel experiences as well. It´s always a great opportunity to get to know new cultures or just different lifestyles.
I made really good experiences with couchsurfing in my time in the US. We met so many great people and we are even still in contact with some of our hosts. Unfortunatly I don´t have references yet since we always used my friends accounts. (see Julia Schweinstetter, https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/julia-schweinstetter )

Music, Movies, and Books
I don´t really have favorites. I am listening to charts, pop, RnB or enjoy music in spanish. I´m pretty much listening to everything depending on my mood and always open for something new.
I enjoy watching Romcoms, comedies as well as action movies.
I looove reading even though it´s sometimes hard to find the time for it. My favorite books are fantasy books that still play partly in the real world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
By far the best and scariest thing I have ever done was leaving my home country to move to the US. Especially back then I was still shy and insecure and it was the best thing I could have done. I grew a lot in this time and made memories for a lifetime. I would do it again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Like I said I love talking to people from different places and get to know the way of life there. So we can talk about the differences in our cultures, countries and lifestyles. And of course we can always talk about traveling the world. I can recommend tons a places you should or shouldn´tgo in the US ;)
