In Italy I'm what it's usually called a "Second Generation" person which means that I was born and grew up in a different place in relation with my parents whom are from the Philippines.
That simple fact gave me the chance to grew up in two completely different culture which are the Italian and the Filipino one, living in that way developed in someway the need of mine to kind of explore the diversity that surrounded me, getting to know people from anywhere on Earth which brought me to start travel to pursue the concept of diversity and even more the fact that traveling had always been a curiosity of mine considering that I had to wait 19 years old to get the Italian citizenship(currently I'm 20) to just travel wherever i wanted without being harassed by the fact that being Filipino doesn't really get you in places until you have way too many documents that proves you're just fine and won't harm anyone.
Having said all that I salute you and perhaps get to meet you wherever you are on this planet and share some time:)
