ABOUT ME

I'm currently a sixth year medical student striving to be a future doctor. At school, pretty much of my time is crammed with all kinds of medical knowledge. But that doesn't make me just a nerd. I also love music, movies, playing basketball, and travel. During longer vacations, I travel to further places. During shorter vacations, I re-explore my city. To me, traveling is like looking at this world from a whole new angle. I learned to appreciate the beauty of everything and the kindness in everyone. The reef in Fiji, the temples in Thailand, the night view on the mountain just back of my school, or the people I met in the park, they all touch me.
I've hosted a few exchange students and couchsurfers. I really enjoyed getting to know them and showing them the beauty of Taiwan.

Don’t set boundaries. Cuz they don’t keep other people out but fence you in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started when I first couchsurfed in Fiji for a month and a half. It was such a pleasure, so I started to host people. I'm really enjoying meeting people from all over the world.
Couchsurfing is about sharing, trusting, and connecting with people. Since I started couchsurfing, it has become a way of life for me even when Im not traveling nor hosting. And I have to say, that the world looks so much more beautiful ever since!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Show people the beauty of my country.

Being able to be accepted in a Fijian village. Everyday we jump in the river to take a shower with the all other animals while the tourists have their river safari boat passing through.

Show my poor dancing skills in a traditional Indian wedding.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to cook Chinese dishes, to write in calligraphy, or anything that the hosts want to know about Taiwanese or Chinese culture. I would love to learn anything that’s indigenous to the other culture.
