About Me
I like to meet great people, see amazing things, learn and absorb as much as I can from other places, people, and life itself.
I crave new experiences. I enjoy going out at night and meeting new people or spending time with old friends. I love a nice combination of water and sun. I enjoy traveling and have a desire to do it as often as possible. I would like to see through the eyes of others all over the world. I refuse to be naive to the rest of the world. I enjoy a challenge and I think that is what drives me.
I am an aggressive sleeper with ridiculous aspiration.
wherever life takes us, no plan, just a beginning
In the real world, I live in Birmingham, AL and spend time with my family and friends. I studied mechanical engineering in school with a minor in Spanish for business. I work for a major energy company in the Research & Development department looking into the future of renewable energy.
Me encantan rucas o siestas y comida y chocolate y helado y Beyonce y mis amigos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet people from anywhere, create friendships or contribute to an amazing experience; I hope to travel and do the same soon.
One year... my friends and I planned a spring break trip to Destin and wanted to go a day early-we decided to go without anywhere to stay-since we booked our hotel for the following night. Two friends and I ended up staying with a great guy named Kevin in Santa Rosa (Kevin responded to me while I was on the way to Florida and we coordinated everything in a period of a few hours). Listening to this guy and his couch surfing experiences was definitely entertaining. The next night he came out with us and ended up crashing on our couch. Best first couch surfing experience ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Vietnam for almost a month was one of the most eye opening experience I've ever had. The geography and scenery combined with the culture and the people was overwhelmingly pleasant. It was a great experience to be completely immersed in my familys culture and seeing where my parents grew up. Traveling throughout the entire country from the jungle to the city to the beaches and the rural areas was definitely a road trip of a lifetime.
I went to St. Thomas and St. John as my boyfriend and I were visiting a local friend from school. I absolutely love the Caribbean. The water is clear and the landscape is beautiful no matter where you are. Definitely a dream come true to lay in the middle of Honeymoon Beach in the water and eat a sandwich. The absolute craziest thing I did there was go on a sailing trip to Turtle Island and snorkle with seaturtles. I always adored the animals when young and never thought I'd ever get the chance to swim with them since they're endangered. I felt like the entire 8 days was a dream.
