About Me

Hey world,
I am Kimberley and this summer I finally finished school. Now, I want to see the world.
This August I will be travelling to Australia (where my father is from) and to New Zealand.
I hope to meet nice people, go on adventures and expand my knowledge on cultures and whatnot.
Moreover I wish for unforgettable experiences which will satisfy my constant need to travel for the time I will be studying in the next couple of years.
(By the way, my spelling is pretty bad and I don´t like writing about myself too much so be prepared for the following awkwardness that is my profile :D)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My older sister and I have done quite a lot of travelling over the past couple of years. Last summer we travelled through England, staying with three couchsurfing hosts and I really enjoyed the experiences we made. Couchsurfing is especially interesting to me, because I find meeting new people quite hard sometimes and on this platform like-minded people get to meet and share the experiences they have made. I love that concept and hope to someday also be able to host travellers from all over the world at my place (wherever in the world that´ll be I don´t quite know yet :D).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books/Movies: Harry Potter, The Panem Trilogy, The Century Trilogy by Ken Follett, The Binding, Peaky Blinders, GoT, FRIENDS..., I also enjoy thrillers, crime novels and the occasional RomCon
Music: Mostly Indie, however I can really enjoy anything except Schlager-Musik ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to be raised somewhat bilingual which has come in handy quite often.
When I was 15 I also got to spend 6 months in Ireland, living with a huge family on a horse yard, which meant riding and working every day and going to a catholic girls school... that was an amazing and life changing experience.
New: climbed Mt. Beerwah (Glasshous Mountain)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some German if anyone´s interested ;)
My incredible pancake baking skills :P
I also enjoy having meaningful conversations about the universe, going out and having fun, playing board/card games (warning: I can be quite competitive) and learning about other peoples interests.
