About Me

Hello everyone!
I'm Kim! but this profile is also for my boyfriend Max who I'm travelling with :)
I speak a bit of French, have been learning it for five years or so but not quite fluent yet.
We both love music, reading, world politics, writing, and exploring nature.
I spend my free time usually eating good food, reading interesting books and I love going swimming at the beach when the weather is warm.

Max is a musician who can play almost every instrument (even the ones he has never played before) and it astounds me. Currently he is learning the concertina.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

I love everything from post punk, folk music, metal to electronic music. For example, I like the Pixies, PJ Harvey, Simon and Garfunkel, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Nick Drake, Van Morrison, Aphex Twin, Swans and Joni Mitchell to name a few.

I like the movie Face Off with Nicholas Cage. It's hilarious.
I also like the movie Death Proof.

Books - my favourite book series of the last few years is The Three Body Problem. It's a Chinese science fiction novel. Otherwise my favourite authors are Kurt Vonnegut and Hermann Hesse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Dour Festival in Belgium last year (2016). That was pretty amazing. A lot of great music and people there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit a scarf or have the perfect disgusting Aussie barbecue. No shrimp.
I'm happy to help anyone practice their English too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share food and wine and lots of information about life in Australia!

Countries I’ve Visited
