About Me
Greetings!
And welcome to Spokane. Kim and Peter moved to Spokane in 2016 from Duluth, Minnesota! Both born and raised in the Midwest, this is our first permanent home away from home! While a piece of our hearts will always be in Duluth, we left to take advantage of all the natural beauty and outdoor recreation that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Us and our two "fur-babies" (a German Shepherd/Malamute and a mitten-pawed tabby cat) constantly take advantage of all of the great things Spokane has to offer from the outdoors to local bars and restaurants. We are both college grads who love to travel, ski, hike, paddle, cycle, read, and jam to our hefty record collection or the numerous great local bands.

Music, Movies, and Books
Most of the time we let our collection speak for itself, but essentially we love any type of music, movies, or books with soul, no matter the genre.
If Kim had to pick a favorite of each? Favorite musical artist is Dave Matthews (and his band). Favorite movie is Moulin Rouge. Favorite book is Indian Killer by Sherman Alexie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kim had the amazing opportunity in college to intern at a community centre in Northern Ireland (Derry-Londonderry) as their youth coordinator. It was phenomenal in every way you could possibly imagine.
Peter worked and lived in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area for a summer where he did countless solo trips. He also may have surfed a 12 foot wave on Lake Superior in the middle of winter.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not entirely sure what to make of this other than I really like all of those verbs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We'd love to share a meal and awesome conversation with our hosts! We're both pretty skilled in the kitchen and deeply enjoy cooking for others so, if possible, we'd like to show our appreciation for our hosts by cooking a meal for them. We know that life has many demands and priorities but depending on your schedule, we'd also love to share an adventure or two with you!
