I've had amazing experiences on Couchsurfing and am rejoining the community after a bit of a hiatus from exploration. Back in the winter of 2015 I traveled in Europe with my best friend for about about two months. Each time we stayed with a Couchsurfing host we had the most amazing time! Later that year I ended up working for a ski resort in Colorado and opened up my apartment in employee housing as a host. I loved being able to return the favor as a host, meet people from all over and make lasting memories.

Music: Indie rock mostly but I'll give anything a listen though I don't love heavy metal or country.
Movies: Not a huge movie buff but I do enjoy anything that's off the beaten track, as long as it isn't crazy violent.
Books: I don't read as often as I should! It's been a lot of non-fiction for me but lately I've been remembering how lovely it is to read fiction. I particularly like classics from the 20th century. Perhaps there's some past life reminiscence happening there.

Built up an off-grid homestead from raw land to a (mostly) functional space. My former partner and I found a used yurt on Craigslist, built the platform for it, assembled the yurt (the quick part!) and moved in before we had electricity or running water.
