Overview
About Me
I am originally from Massachusetts. I have a BA in International Studies. I used to be an ESL teacher in Taiwan for about 3 - 4 years. I love to travel and I´ve been to a good number of countries.
Since my parent's are restaurant owners, I have always had a passion for food so I decided to follow that direction. I graduated with my diploma for a baking/pastry arts degree at the Art Institute. I've worked at Bouchon Bistro in Bevery Hills, Bouchon NYC, and Per se. I moved to Chicago for new exciting job opportunities and am currently taking on a new project in Kalamazoo, MI (quite possibly a new move soon).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and have seen quite a bit of the world. I am drawn to the beauty and differences in each culture, customs, and community. From my experiences of traveling, I have truly been blessed with meeting the most wonderful people who have touched and influenced my life. I'm surprised I didn't join "couch surfing" sooner. I would love to further enrich my life with new people from all over the world or even my own neighborhood, share stories of travel, make connections with new and old friends, and learn more.
Interests
I'm really good at baking/cooking and teaching. I also love sports and do pretty well at it, but like everything I need practice to improve. Within the sports I love are tennis, badminton, swimming,
