Overview
About Me
I am a Legal Assistant at a disability rights/advocacy nonprofit. I work around issues of accessibility and transportation, mainly.
I will start law school on Aug 27th!
I like reading (mostly classics, memoirs and dystopian novels), obsessed with music (esp live music) and listen to far too many podcasts. I like to run/bike/bike and generally be outside. Personality wise, I'm very outgoing and can talk to anyone. During my free time, I canvass for politicians I'd like to see elected, host/attend Artery shows and work with a higher education/immigration advocacy nonprofit. Also enjoy coffee shops, museums and bookstores and love board games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I like being able to host travelers and meet new people. I also like to travel a lot and a friend told me this was an excellent way to meet local people.
As a Host, this is what I can offer:
I have a two bedroom, two bathroom duplex apartment in Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn.
From my apartment, it is a 5 min walk to A/C/J/Z/M/L trains at Broadway Junction - about 30 mins to get into Manhattan.
I have one roommate. Her name is Sabrina and she is easygoing and friendly.
Sleeping Arrangement: A large couch in our living room and access to a large kitchen, bathroom, etc. and very friendly hosts.
As a Surfer: I am very clean and considerate. I am easy going and can strike up conversation with almost anyone.
