About Me

Hello! 👋🏽👋🏽 My name is Kimberly and I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I’m a part-time traveler with a full-time job at an international school doing digital marketing 🤗

I'm always up for an adventure! I enjoy traveling, connecting with people, learning about new cultures and languages, trying new foods, road trips, jamming to music in my car and the list goes on.

There's a bunch of places on my bucket list that I'm looking to visit and I can't wait to check them off! My goal is to visit at least 30 countries by the time I’m 30 and currently I’m almost halfway there! 🎉 Always looking for an awesome travel buddy or buddies! Message me for inquiries regarding these positions haha 😉😆

Truth be told, I signed up for Couchsurfing in 2016, but I have never used it before, hence I’m still SUPER new to this wholethingamajig, so... help a sister out ok because I’m excited, but also pretty dang nervous about this experience. I’ve heard lots of good things about Couchsurfing, so here I am giving it a shot! Wish me luck! 🤞🏽

I'm so pumped for all of my future trips to come! To all my future hosts, I can't wait to meet you, hang out with you and hear your stories! :)

Side note: I’m not hosting anyone at the moment as I don’t have a space to even be a host ☹️ BUT I would love to meet up to either show you around, share travel tips, grab drinks/food, just chat and hang out if you’re ever in Kuala Lumpur or if we’re at the same area anywhere in the planet just hit me up 🤗

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well... I’d love to see the the world, connect with people, hear their stories, have an experience beyond the tourism side of a country - what better way than to stay with someone who knows the ins and outs of the country, how it works and is either from the country or is living there :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m pretty mainstream when it comes to music. So, pop, a big fan of acoustic, indie, jazz, a little bit of R&B and any tunes that make me sway or dance in the car! My all-time favorite book is “The Kite Runner” by Khalid Hosseini, if you haven’t read it, you’re missing out! As for movies, there’s too many to pick from 😳 Off the top of my head, I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy and anything Disney! Typically I’d like anything along the lines of action, rom com, chick flick, sci-fi, adventure, fantasy; basically anything except horror or intense thriller 🙈
