HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, and feel people would enjoy visiting the college town I live in; the couchsurfing site is ingenious because it allows us to "scratch each others backs" in terms of visiting and traveling very easily and cheaply.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been away from the website for a few years but reactivated it this year now that I am a bit more settled in one place. I started using CS'ing when I was in college and I have made so many awesome friends and experienced a plethora of great times.

West With The Night, Beryl Markham, biographies, Kerouac, Fitzgerald, I really love to read. My favorite movies are probably Jeremiah Johnson and The Great Escape, or anything with Steve McQueen. I like old country music, folk, and bluegrass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the pleasure of living in Africa for a year with the military and it was one of the best experiences you could ask for. I got to dive with whale sharks, hunt in the bush, and ride motorcycles with strangers in Uganda.
