About Me
Spend most of my time thinking about ideas for my next illustration, creative ways to meet folx in my new neighborhood here in Boston, and the trips I would like to take in the near future 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Touristing is weird! I've met some wonderful humans in hostels and stuff, but I'd like to feel like I'm not on a theater set when I go to a new place every once in a while. So, I'd love to be with people who can walk me through the beautifully mundane in the otherwise fantastical representations that get constructed for tourist dollars in the spaces I'll be visiting throughout my life.
Eventually, I'd like to do that for other people too 😊
Interests
I was a student grinding my way toward a paper saying that I studied Anthropology and Art History, but my interests are intersectional: urban theory, critical theory, architecture, street art, poetry, and, of course, travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to fiction, magical realism is where it is at for me, preferably Latin American, but I am also currently reading Lanark, which is a Scottish novel.
In the same vein, the magical realisticy Czech films 👌🏽
Graphic novels
I also like psychological thrillers
Canadian sci-fi shows
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked down a tiny dirt road in the middle of the night in Transylvania (the night before Halloween - cliche, I know 🙈) with nothing to guide me but my phone's flashlight and a gazillion stars in the sky
Teach, Learn, Share
let's practice your Spanish & English and (if possible) my Czech, Portuguese, and (coming soon) Arabic together!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love bringing small gifts to friendly and hospitable strangers! Usually in the form of visual artwork (whether it be my own or of some personal significance), these can range in form from books to folk music from local artists in one of the places I call home.
