ABOUT ME
at the moment i am living near downtown spokane in a cute apt. i am working part time so i can focus on having lots of fun. i am happiest when i am doing and planning. two of my favorite things in life are meeting new people (and places) and traveling. I recently made the choice to come back to hometown Spokane to be with family, work on my career, and just breath a bit before I go on my next big adventure. In the summer I love doing all things outdoors like backpacking, floating the river, concerts, and drinking outside at all times possible :) and in the winter i love to ski and board. any season is good in spokane :)
PHILOSOPHY
WORK LIKE YOU DONT NEED THE MONEY
LOVE LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN HURT
DANCE LIKE YOU DO WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before I learned about couchsurfing, I stayed with a lot of random people when I lived in Peru, but not through any specific organization. I learned about couchsurfing from an aussie guy that I met traveling. I let him come to Spokane and surf my couch for a couple weeks, and it was a great experience! :) While I was at work, he met up with other couchsurfer people. From then on, I have had several couchsurfing experiences both hosting and staying with people and it has always been ideal, safe and fun.
Interests
I am interested in most things in some way or another! I can easier list things that i am not interested in...
pornography and
not trying new things.
But really, I do have lots of interests. I am an active person. I love to ski, snowboard, longboard, backpack, camp, surf and do all sorts of other things like that. But also, I like doing mellow things. I love going to get coffee or a drink and talking. And lastly, I am into travelling! I do it every chance I get. I like travelling close to home if I can't get away for a long time. My mom bought me a Lonely Planet for the USA over a year ago and I love using it for new adventures. It has brought to my attention many places that I did not know existed in my own country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping in hammocks in the sticks of the Amazon was pretty amazing. And, I swam with the pink dolphins in the Amazon river. I wouldnt trade those adventures for anything!
Teach, Learn, Share
In terms of couchsurfing, I think that building trust within people in this world is so important! I think couchsurfing and hosting a couchsurfer is such a good testimony to others (especially US people) that not every traveling stranger is a bad/weird person! Telling people about these experiences, I think, will help people have more open minds about travelling and the type of people that travel.
what do I want to learn? well, if I am staying with someone, I want to learn about their life and the things that they like in their town, even if it is only their work or their favorite park or coffee shop.
