Interests

1. Dance: When I started dancing, I fell in love with life. You could say "la música es mi droga y mi alcohol" because I will jump at any chance to get groovy. So don't say yes, just take my hand and dance with me!

2. Hiking: Ever since I got rid of my car, I have discovered an infinite love for walking. In 2015, I walked 500km of the Camino de Santiago and definitely plan on doing it again!

3. Learning Languages: I have spoken Spanish and English since I was born and am craving a new language, currently learning French and Portuguese, this may change tomorrow :P

4. Travel: I mean, of course...I'm an addict.

5. Astrology: Ok, only because I'm a Gemini and I feel like 2 people in 1 body (aka always trying to figure myself out). But I also enjoy seeing if people resonate with their sign or not and why. I essentially love to see what shapes people's personalities: experiences, genetic predisposition, or the stars? ;)

6: Optimism: Perhaps this is less of an interest and more of a philosophy, but I am always interested as to why people gravitate towards optimism or pessimism. In the end we all have a choice: we choose how we react to the world around us, the things we can and cannot control.

7: Reading: One of the most delicious things in the world is to curl up in a blanket and read a book...mmm...

8. Veganism: I read a book that flipped my world upside down in 2015 ("The World Peace Diet") and I went vegan. Now I love eating more than ever, but no worries if you don't agree with the philosophy! No judgment here :)

9. Laughing: I am known for my laugh. You will find out why if you stay with me or host me LOL

10: Smiling: I'm usually found with a slight grin on my face at all times. Yes it's authentic, I'm simply in love with the world :) shown to boost your dopamine too wooo!

I was the Program Director at an awesome non-profit called Movement Exchange. I also founded UNIFY a service organization focused on eradicating contemporary segregation in campus life at my university.
