About Me

I'm currently living in Ubud, Bali and split time between here and Tahoe, Calif. I've been a nomad for 4 years, running a company with my husband that teaches coding courses while traveling the world. Couchsurfing runs deep for me, as when I lived in San Francisco starting in 2009 it's how I met all my friends, and eventually my husband! I don't have a place to host right now, but I love meeting other travelers and helping with anything you need!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet other travelers, and maybe crash a couch or two while traveling around!

Interests

Love my friends and family, learning, green living, meeting new people, trying new things, dancing when there's no music, dancing when there is music, appreciating life, smiling, singing in the shower, fooood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is an organization in South America called "Un Techo para mi Pais" (A Roof for my Country) that constructs emergency housing for impoverished people. A group (of usually around 500 volunteers!) goes out to the town, sleeps on the floor of elementary schools for the weekend, and in groups of 9-11 builds a house for a family that you get to meet and spend the weekend with. It was amazing to see all the people willing to help (most are university students from 19-23 years old!) and the results at the end of the weekend when 50 families are blessed with new, quality shelter. It's a gift in itself to be able to give back, especially with the work of your own two hands, and I encourage anyone who can to do it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you yoga, gratitude, love, sustainability, biz, etc. I like to learn from people about biz, travel hacks, your culture and the world.
