About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, grow and connect

ABOUT ME

I thoroughly enjoy life and intend on living each day like it's my last - following happiness is dear to me. I have traveled both in a group of 10 friends and in complete solitude. I enjoy testing my limits by trying anything new. I thrive on the unknown and am not content being "comfortable". I am very laid back and see the positive in everything. Some of my best travel experiences have been through missing trains or randomly following a fellow traveler. I am very close to my family and friends, which helps enable my nomadic lifestyle - a physical presence is not everything.

One of my favorite quotes is: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead. I am currently travelling through South East Asia trying to collect practical knowledge on permaculture and social change with hopes to start a small NGO/community in Costa Rica. I love volunteering and believe strongly in sharing knowledge with one another. I would love nothing more than to have a space where people can love, create, support, protest, cook, sing - anything bringing positivity and action to the community.

Interests

I love sitting by a lake. Getting lost in music. Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows. Writing notes to self on random pieces of paper. Being myself. Wearing my heart on my sleeve. The crisp smell of a fire burning in the winter. Silence with friends. Catching a yawn from an animal. Swimming upstream. A good pillow. A long stare at the moon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I first found out about CS when I met an incredibly generous Finish guy on a boat to Helsinki. I hadn't booked a place to stay and he told me I could crash at his place. I was delightfully escorted to a psychedelic trance rave in a forest near his home town in Finland. Brushing through bramble and following tea lights passed junk yards. What an incredible introduction to a beautiful community.

Teach, Learn, Share

I myself am learning about permaculture and sustainable living, transitioning to communities less dependent on oil, yoga & healthy eating/food revolution.

I can help you to organize a kick-ass fundraiser, preserve food & teach tricks to live on less money and decrease consumption - I love freeganism!

I would love to learn anything I don't know. I would love to learn more about earth ships & homeopathy & knitting & I'm always down to learn more chords/songs on the guitar!

I enjoy sharing laughs, culture, stories, experiences.
