Overview
About Me
I'm an experienced solo traveller who loves new experiences and is full of curiosity about new people. I've done lots of wwoofing and workaways at some pretty incredible places, both with people who are quietly escaping the world and with people who are doing anarchist surgery from inside the system. I'm vegan, got no allergies or special needs. I love socialising but also desperately need introvert time every few days, and I find I can adapt pretty easily to the vibes of the host and house that is hosting me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, hear interesting stories, learn lesser-known facts about places and dip my toe into interesting projects.
Interests
trees, sci-fi, weird art, board games, cooking vegan noms, dumpster diving, herbalism and edible weeds, learning Swedish, learning Finnish, participatory festivals, learning new facts and experiencing the world from other peoples' perspectives, wwoofing, conservation campaigning and activism, radical intentional communities, whisky, silliness, anarchy and democracy, learning to fix bicycles, creating the reality I want to live in, polyamory and relationship anarchy (I practice one or both of these depending on your definition), drinking coffee with a lovely friend in a little patch of sunlight shining on the gutter, with weeds between my toes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Overcome a lot of social inertia and mistrust to put myself in the way of serious amounts of joy, friendship and bizarre experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk at length about English, science fiction, consent, polyamory and relationship anarchy, consensus-based decision making, non-violent communication, and community organising. I can teach you how to darn your socks and read runes.
I'd love to practice my Swedish more, help out on another Earthship build, learn to build water filtration systems and other appropriate technology/post-apocalyptic systems, learn about plant identification and herbalism.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An enthusiastic board games player, some medium-good vegan cooking, help fixing something around the house or cleaning out and reorganising a fridge. Drawings of beetles and birds.
