ABOUT ME

I'm 26 year old female. My seasonal job working at a backcountry lodge just came to an end which has given me a little bit of time to road trip around BC looking for a place that I may try to live in for the future. I am going to be attending a Carpentry Foundations program shortly and am looking for somewhere to move to when that wraps up. I'm originally from Calgary, Alberta. Went to university in the Okanagan for a couple years. I've worked as a tree planter in the spring and summers for the past 6 years out of Prince George, Quesnel, Princeton, Penticton, Clear Water and 100 Mile House, BC. I know I love BC and am looking to find a home somewhere where the ocean and mountains meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hey! Im currently on a road trip looking for my next home. Since graduating from University 2 years ago Ive spent a winter in Japan followed by a winter in Australia. I returned to Canada and tried living in Banff for a year. Which was nice because it was close to my family in Calgary but not exactly what I was looking for. I'm checking out Vancouver Island and some towns up in Northern BC. Looking for that mountain snow culture but still close to the ocean and the possibility of getting a job as a carpentry apprentice would be ideal. So thats why I'm couchsurfing...looking for a home.
