About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To help others

ABOUT ME

I'm a multi-ethnic woman, born and raised in India, but living in Canada longer than my native-land. I love both countries, and have so many wonderful stories to share about my experiences in both places.

Born in India, I never would've known I would end up living abroad. At a very young age, I was married off to a man in Canada. After that I had two beautiful children, who I raised. Together with my family I've had a great number of experiences, all of which has shaped me and developed me into the strong woman I have become.

English is certainly my second language, so please note that I've had help writing my profile, and when communicating with me, you will have to excuse my brevity and grammar.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to it's fullest!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This has yet to be discovered as I'm new to this sight. But I can tell you I'm a great listener, and have stories that I've accumulated over a life-time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If you are reading this, you'll know that I'm not your typical couch surfer. I'm new to this site, inspired by my daughter and her other relatives. I've travelled to so many places, but I've never done couch surfing, and I'm very interested to have this experience.

Interests

Photography, travelling, helping others, architecture, seeing nature, talking to others, sharing experiences

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a mix of English, Bengali and Hindi movies, music and books. I've always been a fan of pop music and culture: Madonna, Rihanna, Ariana, Britney, Rickey Martin etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I did was raise my two children. There is no greater gift in life then giving the gift of life to others. I thank all the mothers in the world for their wonderful service to the human race. This is an extra-ordinary achievement.

Travel achievements: I've climbed the Great Wall of China, seen the Meeting of the Waters, experienced the Pyramids in Egypt, had my honeymoon at Taj Mahal, experienced Niagra Falls, tried to fix the Leaning Tower of Pizza . . . . I think you get the picture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have so much to offer in terms of life experience, culture, and stories! So many stories that will blow your mind away. So many people have told me that I should turn my life into a story. I'm thinking one day I will write it all down, and create a novel, or maybe even a movie. That would be an ultimate dream.
