关于我
CURRENT MISSION
To explore, share, discuss, and experience as much as possible in life.
ABOUT ME
I just finished living in Korea for the past two years, and now I'm headed home for a bit before moving to Portland, Oregon. I enjoy doing too many things and being too busy. I enjoy having 1,000 hobbies. I enjoy meeting new people whenever possible and learning whatever I can from them. I enjoy meeting people who are enthralled with life and are passionate about what they do.
PHILOSOPHY
Cliche statement about living life to the fullest. (But seriously, live life to the fullest.)
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Recently joined up, but I've hosted 12 surfers in the last few months and have really enjoyed my experiences. I also joined a few CS events in KOreaas well, and they've all been excellent.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I've only played host. Hope to see the flip-side when I road-trip across the US in January of 2012.

音乐、电影和书籍
I'm currently reading (and loving) "The River Why" by David James Duncan. Also in and out of my hands: "Living Biibically" by A.J. Jacobs (it's not quite what it sounds like - it's a hilarious tale of an aethiest Esquire editor trying to live by all the rules of the bible for a year.) I'm also reading a bit of the Tao Te Ching at the moment.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I lived on a coffee/citrus farm in the high jungle of Peru during my time in university. Hunted for giant land snails, ate them as ceviche, and hung out with giant bats.
教,学,和分享
I own a fly-tying vise and I would love to teach anyone to tie a couple of fishing flies if they're interested. I love cooking as well, though I have a lot to learn. I'm always down to cook with new people; sharing, teaching, and learning all at the same time. I learned quite a few Korean recipes while living there that I'd be happy to share ith you.
