About Me
CURRENT MISSION
enjoying the freedom of being young and naive :-)
ABOUT ME
Studied architecture & engineering @ Ghent University, am into 20th century art - especially visual arts. Ward studied astrophysics and is also preparing a PhD. We like to discover foreign countries (and their food!!!), hike in the mountains, read a good book on the couch and enjoy good food, beer, wine, ...
Love to make long walks on lazy autumn afternoons... Love the smell of christmas trees, listen to jazz in a café in Brussels, and unwrap gifts...
PHILOSOPHY
Trying to discover the world without any prejudice.
Surprises make life exciting, challenges make it rich.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My husband and I want to offer open-minded travellers a nice, comfortable place to stay in Brussels and enjoy learning all about their culture. We usually don't have time to show people around in the city but we always enjoy having dinner or a beer (or two, three, ...) with our Couchsurfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've had great experiences with people from all over the world, from Asia and New Zealand to Poland, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, France and South America.
