--- Currently not able to host anybody, since I am travelling myself and moving to a new place in a different city after my return.

My name is Kim, and apart from a free spirit, I am currently a free soul because of my 4,5-month long break from university life. Just like last summer, I hope to host/meet nice travellers in Middelburg&Ghent and I am looking forward to surfing some couches in Portugal and Italy.

I have just finished the second year of my Bachelor program at University College Roosevelt, where I study a mix of psychology, cognitive neuroscience and philosophy (I like to think I am learning about human behaviour/thinking and the concept of "consciousness" in all its aspects, because after all the big question of what "consciousness" entails is the one I am trying to answer.)

I could say I am pretty chill, energetic, creative, cheerful, spontaneous, open-minded and all that. But, just like everybody else, I can also sometimes be a bit more calm, tired, and shy. Also fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently travelling through Portugal with my Italian friend Maria.
We have been on some backpacking trips before, and have always met wonderful people along the way. Through CouchSurfing, we feel like we really connect with people, because you get invited into one's home and really share high quality time, a meal, a room, stories.

Interests

My obsessions vary from time to time and cover basically everything, but I am mostly interested in (live) music (metal, rock, electronic, classical etc etc etc etc), many types of art (painting, drawing, painting, theatre, sculpture, photography, film and architecture), books, hiking, writing, dancing, psychology, philosophy, and cognitive science.
