About Me

A small-town boy who wants to discover the world, learn languages and make lasting friendships with people all over the world. I'm very calm and relaxed, I get easily along with anyone that I meet. Then again I'm also very out-going, I dance when I feel like it, I can get very excited about small things and I laugh a lot and very loud (sad but true that sometimes my friends think my laughter is funnier than my jokes...).

Going for a coffee and sitting in the café for many hours with good conversations is absolutely one of my favorite things to do! Or also being home alone and singing my favorite songs as loud as I can (bless you neighbours...).

Originally I'm from a very small village in Finland, but at the moment I'm studying to become a language teacher in the university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a possibility for me to meet people with common interests: travelling, socializing and making new friends. I feel that Couchsurfing can be a way for me to gain more knowledge of people, countries and culture in exchange of some knowledge about my own experiences and that way widen my worldview.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to make kind of a ''skill switch'' or something like this, since I believe you can never learn too many things - that's why I'd like to learn from others! Of course in exchange for some skills I know, for example teach you how to knit your own socks, basic guitar chords, basic sentences from Finnish... What I'd also love would be to share music with each other that the other hasn't heard.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share laughter, my culture, conversations about life, maybe even bake something typical of my country, sing and play together or even teach you about handicrafts like knitting, crocheting...
