About Me

CURRENT MISSION
[2018-07-01] Acknowledge the difference between the real and ideal world, still, keeping up the passion and curiosity.
Work and have fun in the summer. Hopefully could also gain some muscle.

ABOUT ME

[Sep-10-2012]
Hi there! Here is Yuxiang, Kimi, Matt, Julio, Fabian, Azuki. (You name it...)

In some sense, I'd like to describe myself as a experiencisit, which means I treasure experience, no matter it is success or failure.

As a experiencisit, I WELCOME unexpected experience during travel. You can never imagine what is gonna to happen in the next second...

My Couchsurfing experience started in Germany when I was a Erasmus student. During the stay in Europe, I tried mitfahren(similar to hitchhiking) which are a great inspiration even until now. Also, I met various people there, who made me a different person, when I was on the way. Learning while traveling helps me to build a positive attitude to life.

Afterward, I got an internship in Saudi Arabia and stayed there for two months. It was special and unforgettable, not only for I survived the most dangerous situation in my life, but also it is the first time I felt the fragility of life. Afterward, again, I learned the lesson to live to the fullest and got more inspiration for the expedition.

With this idea in mind, I started the journey to Thailand in July 2012 and stayed there for 15 days. It is my first time volunteering through the 'helpx' program and I am pretty positive that I will continue to pursue this kind of laid-back attitude in my life.

[March-02-2017]
For 4+ years as a graduate student at San Diego, Not surprisingly, I am spoiled to move to anywhere else. Still, I know that reaching out to the world is always lingering in my heart.

[July-01-2018]
Now I am relocated to Seattle, a city which is doomed to come across with my life one more time.
Who knows if its twin city - Budapest will be the next one to expect for the reunion.
In the end, just to share with you: when you cannot get around to see the world, let the world come to see you.

--- PHILOSOPHY ---
It is better to burn out than fade away.
Live to the fullest.
仰望星空,脚踏实地
