About Me

Greetings!

I'm a born and raised Californian with a passion for traveling, meeting new people, and trying new foods I’m currently working in technology as a UX Researcher in the San Francisco Bay Area. In my free time, I love cooking for my friends, bringing people together, exploring new cities/art/live music, and hiking in beautiful places.

I have passion for the human experience. I hope to see, feel, and learn as much as I can in my short time on this planet.

If you are interested in spending time together for live music, arts, walking around the city and/or other things you find most special about your city, I'd love to connect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want o meet new, interesting humans who can share their space, stories, and good company. I want to gain an authentic cultural experience from my trip and see the world from multiple perspectives. I want to broaden my horizons to learn new languages, recipes, and ways of living.

Interests

I love to cook and explore new foods/restaurants. I enjoy hosting friends for meals and cooking with others. In my free time I like to read, go to live music shows and local art/science events, or chill at home with Netflix. I also enjoy hiking around California's beautiful landscape, practicing yoga, and jogging outside.

Any book by Daniel Handler, Mary Roach, or Murakami... Right now I can’t stop listening to Part Time, Fleetwood Mac, and King Princess

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently trained for and ran in my first half marathon in San Francisco!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, or teach you how to cook a great meal. I love to get fresh produce from local farmers markets and make colorful, healthy, and flavorful meals. I can also teach you some Farsi or a few words of French/Spanish (and of course English). If you are able to host me, I can certainly help you clean or take care of any home needs.
