About Me

Updated April.2020
---------------------------------------------------

I DON'T USE COUCHSURFING AS A SEXSURFING. If you're expecting something like that, way better just to download tinder.

I'm typical Korean and have lived in Seoul, which is the capital of my country. I've never could hosted cause I live in the dormitory of university, where it is prohibited bringing non-member.
However, I'm moving to a new huge flat so maybe there could be a possibility to host travellers.

I was travelling all over the world, but mostly I was fascinated by India and American Continent. My life is(or used to be😭) full of adventures, many people say that I'm crazy but why not haha? I try to cherish people around me and enjoy every moment of my life.

IG @vivalavidakim if you’re interested to check my travel & daily post

I studied television & film in one of the best universities in Korea. I also double majored in statistics, they're quite different but I look forward to finding any clue about the combination of two. Now I am working as a global marketer, targeting spanish speaking country. If you're from Mexico or Spain, please drop me any market insight!!!!
So basically I'm pretty much interested in videos like documentary, movie. I love photography too, so I always travel with my big camera.

I'm feminist, very interested about woman rights. I like to discuss about the discriminations we're facing still in 21st century, and the destination we need to pursue. Sometimes I get very angry or a bit aggressive when I talk about this issue but I don’t wanna shut up about it, it’s a matter of half of human being.

By the way I love meeting and making new friends, which is why I'm in CS. I'm party person and do like drink any kind of liquor, especially I love tequila but I'm not alcoholic. (By now 2020 I quit drinking as I'm working out to get the muscles tho,)
And dancing. omg I'm so into salsa and bachata. I'm always, always ready to dance and never get tired with it. If you know any good place for dance it in anywhere of the world, please let me know. Still I'm kind of introverted but I don't mind silences :) I'm quite high self esteemed, I love myself and my life.

Carpe diem, life is to enjoy!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : reggaeton(even though it's quite contradicting with my feminism thing. I like the melody but hate how they describe women), bachata, salsa,
Books : I'm just trying to read many books as can I do. But it's not easy at all.
Movies : titanic, zootopia, moss(a Korean thriller movie), Parasite, Inception.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. In 2014 I participated 'Korean big run', which is walking through Korean country from bottom to the top, about 600Km. I and my team members cared, and encouraged each other to get the victory. It was not easy. My feet were full of blisters and hurt everyday. But thanks to my patient and cooperation with member, I could made it.

2. While traveling uyuni, Bolivia, I could see tremendously many stars at the dawn. It was fantastic. I felt that all the universe was focusing on me. With my friends we contined to pressing shutter of camera, but it couln't be taken perfectly. I can't forget the shooting star we saw together, and the happiness of the day

3. Assaulted 5 times in Venezuela

4. I travelled India for 7 months by myself.

5. Obviously that I fell in love with bachata, now it's a part of my life

6. Camino de Santiago, one of the best experiences in my life ever.

7. Started hitchhiking

8. Living my life
