About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn Spanish, photography, and get to know South America! In Peru at the moment.
ABOUT ME
I love meeting sincere and kind-hearted people and learning about different cultures. I like to work while traveling so that I can stay longer and really get to know a place and people who live there. I laugh and smile very easily!

Interests
Longboarding, ukulele, languages, photography, meditation, astrology, mythology and folklore.
I'm interested in trying basically anything new. I'm the sort of person who will try anything twice, and I'm especially interested in doing things that scare or challenge me.
Right now I'm working on my Spanish and I'm really interested in Latin American music, food, and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: On a Dostoevsky kick at the moment--he is my absolute favorite. I also dug The Alchemist, Nightwood, Lolita, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Howl. And Harry Potter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked across the U.S. from my home in Dayton, Ohio to San Francisco.
One exciting thing I saw very recently was the green ray! In case you don't know what that is--people say that sometimes on a clear day, if you watch the sun set over water, a green
ray or flash will appear just as the sun dips below the horizon. I had watched many sunsets and never seen and I really didn't believe it existed. Until a few days ago I was flying to Lima, Peru and as we flew over the Gulf of Mexico at sunset, I saw it clear as day!! I take it as a very good omen for the coming year.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm eager to learn about anything new. As for what I have to offer, I guess I'm a decent cook? I'd be happy to make a vegetarian dish for you. Do you like Indian food? :)
And I can try to teach you to longboard, or show you a few chords on ukulele.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will be happy to host you when I finally stop moving and have an apartment somewhere! (hopefully soon)
