About Me

I'm so many things that I find it hard to categorise myself.
I can, however, tell you 3 things I can't live without and hopefully, you can discern more from that.
A sharp knife, music and wine! :)
I'm also an adventure seeker who loves exploring other people's culture and live by a few simple rules.

*Do not inconvenience someone unless you plan to inconvenience yourself.
*Never judge.
*Always remember that there is something happening right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couch surfers to meet new ppl and help those when I can.

Interests

I like dancing but I have two left feet. I tried to learn the tango in Argentina and the look on the instructor's face said volumes. I felt bad that he felt bad, then I felt amused because I wasn't as embarrassed as he thought I should have felt!

I enjoy cooking... that I can do very well. Every country I visit I usually take a cooking class or the person I stay with would teach me a dish. Some times I even cook for my host.

Reading depletes my bank account more than any other hobby.

I'm at peace when I'm sailing, there is no place more important to me that being on the Ocean.

Music, Movies, and Books

The art of forgiveness, the alchemist, Universe in an atom and The art of war.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've woke up on fire island (US coast guard base) first night & first Time in NY and made my way back to Staten Island by myself.

I caught a fish with my bare hands and feed 5 men on a regatta in Bequia.

I opened a bottle of wine with a spoon on Englishman's Bay without breaking the cork. It took me 3.5 hrs. I was so determined not to have any dust in the wine; one must have high priorities in life.

Got my black belt in Japan under Hirokazu Kanazawa.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to live, how to love wholeheartedly and not to dwell on things that they think are important when in life nothing is ever that serious.

I'm a great cook and I will pass on whatever knowledge I can share with anyone that would like to learn Caribbean cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Tapas, Italian, Brazilian, Argentinian, Mexican and Chinese.
